NOVEDADES EN LIQUENES FOLICOLAS

The foliicolous lichens genera Asterothyrium and Mazosia are reprorted for the first time for Argentinian flora: Asterothyrium leucophthalmum and A. leptosporum collected in Corrientes pravince, and Mazosia tumidula from Misiones province. Furthermore the following three foliicolous species are new records for Argentina: Sporopodiufn xantholeucum, S. leprleurii and Lopadium foliicola; whilst Asterothyrium monosporum is recorded for Bolivia and A. pittieri for Paraguay. Keys, description and illustrations of the species are given.
