Aspectos biológicos sobre los parásitos y la dinámica poblacional de Drepanotrema spp. (Mollusca, Planorbidae) en un biotopo lenítico del nordeste argentino
Resumen
Larval trematodes from Drepanotrema lucidum and D. depressissimum collected once to three time per season during two years (1985-87) were studied and XIpNdlocercaria sp. IV,Xiphidiocercaria sp. III (aff. Haematoloechus sp.), Furcocercaria sp. IV and Notocotylid cercariae were described.
Abundance of snails was related to temperature, ¡ncreasing in winter and decreasing to neariy absent in summer. Prevalence of individual cercaría was low (0,1 a 3,0 %). Echinostomes in Drepapanotrama spp. were not found.
Furcocercaria sp.IV was frequent during all the period of study infecting both species of Drepanotrema. OcassionaJIy, D. cimex were detected in the biotopo. Some ecoiogical parameters were relevated and related with planorbid abundances. As result, seems to be that the temperature has had disruptive effects
on planorbids populations and the most related parameter. Independence between reproductiva cydes of snails species were evident. Competitiva interactions between them was not demostrated.
