Abstract

Based on specimens collected in the Misiones Province, Argentina, a new species of the genus Oxypetalum(Apocynaceae: Asclepiadoideae) related to O. argentinum, O. humileand O. microphyllumis described here. Currently known populations occur in fragments of grasslands surrounded by subtropical forest
