Un palimpsesto de neón. Espacio y tiempo en la serie fotográfica Microcentro de Pablo Ziccarello

Abstract

Which urban forms does photography provide? How does photographic temporality construct the space? In this article I analyze how from the time of duration, that time that overflows and expands the photographic instant, the Microcentro series created by Pablo Ziccarello towards the end of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st generates a chaotic space that pushes speed and the rhythm of modern cities. In a temporal game that displays a “wrong” use of the device, based on the stacking of photographs, the images of this series catch fire with reality and shed some glimpses of the political and social outbreak that occurred towards the end of 2001 in Argentina.
