The objective of this article is to carry out a state of the art on the academic production of the Argentine Student Support Program (known as Progresar), between 2014 and 2023. For this, the digital repositories Google Scholar, Sedici, Conicet, Dialnet, Redalyc, Scielo and the National System of Digital Repositories were consulted. There were 23 antecedents surveyed and they were recorded in a matrix, where they were grouped under different analysis categories identified from the reading. Three main thematic lines were identified: those dedicated to the study of regulations and their evolution, those interested in the subjectivities of young recipients and those concerned with evaluating some impact of the policy using quantitative methodology. Regarding the argumentative strategy, it is structured in three sections. Firstly, the characteristics of the program will be briefly presented, contemplating the modifications it has undergone since its creation until 2023. Secondly, an analysis of the main thematic lines identified in the background information will be carried out, identifying common points and differentials in the authors' findings. Finally, a final reflection will be outlined on the preponderance of normative analyzes compared to those that analyze the subjectivities of the recipients.
