The subject “Medicine, Man and Society” of the Medicine career at the National University of the Northeast, offers an option called “Pre-university support course” (CAP), free, voluntary, virtual and non-binding, whose purpose is to show some contents the subject has to offer. We set out to analyze the degree of satisfaction achieved by students with this training proposal, investigate the acceptance of the gamification activities provided and estimate the failure and degree of response of the students to this offer. To do this, anonymous, voluntary and semi-structured surveys were applied to the 534 students initially enrolled. Gamification activities were highly accepted and are perceived as a very good alternative for the effective transmission of knowledge. In relation to the observed breakdown, it is proposed, for subsequent cohorts of this extension offer, to carry out a more detailed follow-up of the reasons why students do not continue with the course.
