Abstract

An a priori onto-semiotic analysis of institutional resolutions corresponding to problem situations of linear and quadratic functions of an inquiry instrument that was developed to provide entrants to the Engineering careers of the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences and Surveying is carried out. from the UNNE in the year 2026, with the aim of assessing the understanding they have of the argumentation in the field of the aforementioned topics. The notions of mathematical practice, epistemic configuration and semiotic function, theoretical and methodological constructs of the Ontosemiotic Approach to mathematical knowledge and instruction, one of the theoretical frameworks of the ongoing research, are used as theoretical and methodological tools. The primary mathematical objects involved in institutional resolutions and their conceptual relationships are identified and characterized.
