Erythrostemon gilliesii var. burkartiana is confirmed as a valid taxon in Argentina, and its presence is recorded for the first time in the Province of Santiago del Estero. So far this variety had only been mentioned for western Argentina in the Province of Mendoza and there were doubts as to its validity. In this way, its geographical distribution is extended to the northwest of ArgentinaDownloads
