The new species Sida ignaciana, S. Kelleri, S. loretana, S. palustris, S. ramoniana from Argentina;S. albinervia, S. carandana, S. cruziana, from Bolivia;S. abadiana, S. adrianopolitana, S. arcuata, S. bortolanensis, S. farroupilhensis, S. Heringeri, S. Kranzii, S. magnifolia, S. piraporana, S. Santosii, S. silvaniana from Brasil;S. tapiraguensis from Paraguay, andS. ambatense from NW Argentina and Bolivia, and S. Saraviaefrom NW Argentina to Peru are described
