Abstract

Summary: Eleocharis acutangula (Roxb.) Schult., subsp. breviseta J. D. Rosen is cited for the first time for the flora of Argentina. This study provides a brief morphological description and identification key with E. acutangula (Roxb.) Schult. subsp. acutangula, a figure of the general aspect and the achenes of both subspecies and a description of their ecology and distribution in Argentina.
