By 2020, with the severity of Covid-19 confirmed, the measures implemented in the educational field to address this pandemic included the suspension of face-to-face classes at all levels. From this point on, university education acquired “new modes” in which teachers and students were required to incorporate Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) into their practices. Along the path from total isolation to a return to “normality”, blended learning emerged as a mode of instruction shaped by this context, which continues to be relevant today. The studies of ancient societies, such as that of Pharaonic Egypt, have benefited from this new way of approaching teaching in university settings since 2020.
