Proposal for recycling urban solid waste in municipalities of córdoba (argentina) for the development of construction components for social purposes

This work was carried out in municipalities of the province of Córdoba, in which the urban solid waste -USW- from their landfills was surveyed and proposals were made for their recycling, for the manufacture of construction components. The purpose of the work was for municipal governments to make visible the possibility of creating new productive circuits that improve the environmental and housing conditions of the lower-income sectors, based on waste recycling. A diagnosis of the USW produced by each municipality was prepared, and technological transfers of construction components.developed in the institute, which include this waste, were carried out. Demonstrative prototypes were built in each municipality, to motivate the population to carry out differentiated waste collection and promote the creation of productive enterprises. Finally, productive ventures were launched, providing advice and quality control of the products.
