Desarrollo y automatización de un secadero solar para vegetales y productos elaborados de alimentación fisiológica saludable

The development and automation of a solar dryer for vegetables and processed products for healthy physiological food is presented. The calculation and development of the dryer itself was carried out, selecting the appropriate materials and components for its subsequent construction. The control of the drying air temperature was carried out using a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), which also allowed the automation of the proposed drying system. The development of the solar dryer was carried out in a modular way, thus allowing the choice of one or more modules, according to the project developed by the owner. The study and development of the solar dryer for vegetables and processed products for healthy physiological food will allow the establishment of the bases of a PDTS (Technological and Social Development Project), which can then be transferred to the people who requested technical assistance and to those who require it.
