Abstract

The aim of this study is to consider one of the treated subjects by the french sociologist of russian origin Georges Gurvitch related to the sociology of law, in which the ways of law generation or poduction are addressed and a sort of living law generated by society is recognized, in constrast to state law, named by him as “legal pluralism”, pretty much in the so-called “antiformalisms” direction in the law area. Basically, a revision of two of his works, Sociology of law and Elements of Sociology of law, is going to be made, in addition of textual relations to others of his general works, as a starting point in which a systematization of this ideas is going to be attempted.
