¿Qué es un fractal?
Un fractal es un objeto semi geométrico cuya estructura básica, fragmentada o irregular, exhibe recursividad, o autosimilitud, a cualquier escala. En otras palabras, si se enfoca una porción cualquiera de un objeto fractal (utilizando un magnificador, o hasta un microscopio, para ello), la sección resultante es una réplica a menor escala de la figura principal.
