A new Brazilian species of Arachis L. is described. Arachis veigaeS.H. Santana & Valls nov. sp, morphologically close to A. pusilla Benth., is distinguished by the absence of a prominent basal disc at the base of the fruit segments and non concaulescent cotyledonary buds. The synonymization of A. sylvestris (A. Chev.) A. Chev. and A. pusilla is discussed.Downloads
