Abstract

The central purpose of this text is to describe and explain the methodological theoretical model that we designed for my doctoral thesis, which aimed to analyze and understand the periods of theatre in Aguascalientes, Mexico, during the 20th century, as well as the ruptures, continuities and/or historical contradictions in his teaching. The methodological theoretical model is based on Cultural Studies. We mainly refer to the disciplines of History and Sociology, we research in documentary collections, ethnographic interviews, autoethnography, sociological imagination, kibbitzer concept, History of the present time, Method of Generations and Theatre Cartography. The theatre stages that we reconstruct are: amateur, institutional, independent and professionalization.
