Abstract

Climate change (CC) poses a threat to the future of upcoming generations, presenting a formidable menace that, without the implementation of mitigation and adaptation measures, could lead to the extinction or devastation of the Earth and all its living beings. The main purpose of this research is to analyze the connection that exists between globalization and climate change and how the lack of harmonization mechanisms between these phenomena impacts human life. Our argument affirms the possibility of a transition from commercial and/or economic globalization towards a sustainable form of globalization, thereby mitigating the crisis of fundamental prerogatives. The proposed study was conducted using the abstract-concrete method, allowing for the abstraction of the human rights situation amid the phenomena of Globalization and Climate Change.
