Citizenship as a starting point of social construction after the signing of the Peace Agreement with the FARC – EP in Colombia

Abstract

This article aims to make a theoretical dissertation on the various approaches and conceptualizations of the concept of citizenship that have been the basis of the current forms of interaction and participation in actual society and how its transformation has defined the new approaches to political action in societies of the present century. To present a general state of the situation relative to the state of citizens prior to the signing of the peace agreement between the government of Colombia and the FARC - EP, the inconveniences that have arisen in its implementation and the challenges that the Colombian state has to strengthen and implement citizen participation in the country.
