Abstract

The implementation of agricultural technologies has the objective of optimizing agricultural operations, improving the management of activities and generating better results, in less time and taking care of costs to increase profits.

In agriculture, technological advances are constant and each one brings with it the need for a new legal regulatory framework. Thus, the “hyperconnectivity” facilitated by “5G”, the collection of data with Internet of Things devices, their analysis with “Big Data” or the use of “Edge Computing” for processing, among others, generate the need for regulate this information traffic, guaranteeing the rights of people.

That is why the role of modern technologies in agriculture is analyzed, and the impact they have on current agrarian law. And with this, the need for a proactive and prospective law, through legal regulations, programs and projects, for the benefit of agricultural producers.
