The Scientific Journal of the Faculty of Law and Social and Political Sciences of UNNE is an open-access electronic academic publication, peer-reviewed under the double-blind system, devoted to the dissemination of research articles, doctrinal essays, reviews of judicial decisions and case law, and bibliographic reviews related to the legal, social, and political fields from local, regional, and international perspectives. The Journal is included in various national and international indexes, databases, directories, and scientific indexing and evaluation systems, in recognition of its editorial quality standards, academic visibility, and scientific impact.

The Scientific Journal of the Faculty of Law and Social and Political Sciences – UNNE emerged the integration of the Journal of Research in Legal, Social and Political Sciences MOMBA'ETÉVA (electronic version, E-ISSN 2718-7144) and the Journal of the Faculty of Law and Social and Political Sciences (print version, ISSN 1851-3204

This merger reflects the institutional decision to preserve and strengthen the most distinctive features of both publications: the tradition and distinguished trajectory of the Journal of the Faculty of Law and Social and Political Sciences within the doctrinal field of law, whose first publications date back to the 1960s; and the contemporary and innovative spirit of the Journal of Research in Legal, Social and Political Sciences MOMBA'ETÉVA, whose inaugural issue was launched in 2020, contributing to the improvement and modernization of academic publishing through adherence to the highest international standards of editorial quality.

Beginning with the issue corresponding to the year 2022, all editorial efforts converged into the Scientific Journal of the Faculty of Law and Social and Political Sciences – UNNE, the result of a deliberate process of evolution and adaptation to the rhythms and demands shaped by scientific development and recent editorial trends.

And, like the pieces of a puzzle, each one unique yet collectively contributing to the whole, every contribution made through this Journal and every issue produced through dedicated effort shall always pursue the common purpose of advancing science as an essential driving force for the development of a freer, fairer, and more equal society
