Miradas retrospectivas: la trayectoria de la atención primaria de la salud en Posadas (misiones, Argentina, 1980-2015)

Abstract

In this article, we propose to reconstruct the work of Primary Health Care carried out in the city of Posadas (Misiones) during the period 1980-2015. Through the analysis of secondary sources and testimonies collected by professionals from different disciplinary fields, we highlight the marks and priorities that Primary Health Care acquired, according to the programmatic lines deployed concurrently to an expansive urbanization process. This retrospective inquiry of experiences at the primary level of healthcare delivery may illuminate present-day configurations of meanings and practices for those engaged in their daily responsibilities across different organizational tiers within the local health system.
