The Revista Científica de la Facultad de Derecho y Ciencias Sociales y Políticas - UNNE  (Research Journal of the Faculty of Law and Social and Political Sciences – UNNE) is an electronic academic publication under the Open Access Policy. All research articles included in the Journal are peer-reviewed and follow the Open Access Policy. The Journal publishes research results, doctrinal essays, sentences and jurisprudence reviews, and book reviews regarding legal topics including local, regional and internal perspectives in the legal, social and political research fields. It is indexed in Latindex Catalog v2.0 (2018 - ), and registered in Dialnet, LatinREV (Latin American Network of Academic Journals in Social Sciences and Humanities) and MIAR (Information Matrix for the Analysis of Journals).

The Research Journal of the Faculty of Law and Social and Political Sciences – UNNE is the result of a merger between the Revista de Investigaciones en Ciencias Jurídicas, Sociales y Políticas MOMBA'ETÉVA (Research Journal in Juridical, Social and Political Science MOMBA'ETÉVA) (electronic version E-ISSN 2718-7144) and the Revista de la Facultad de Derecho y Derecho y Ciencias Sociales y Políticas (Journal of the Faculty of Law, and Social and Political Sciences) (printed version ISSN 1851-3204). 

The merging of both journals is due to the institutional decision to preserve and enhance the most salient characteristics of both publications - the tradition and remarkable trajectory of the Journal of the Faculty of Law, and Social and Political Science, whose first publications date from the 1960s, and the avant-garde imprint of the Research Journal in Juridical, Social and Political Science MOMBA'ETÉVA, whose first issue was launched in 2020, modernizing the academic publishing field through its compliance with the highest international quality standards of the publications that comprise it. 

All editorial efforts from the 2022 issue onwards converge in the Research Journal of the Faculty of Law and Social and Political Sciences – UNNE,
