Abstract

This article addresses the complexity of reading modern poetry in the academic field. As the poem is a textual artifact that carries with it the possibility of always being updated in the voice, it brings a rhythmic power to the classroom habit of silent reading, that highlights the notions of body and movement, as well as the oral quality of every language, which survives in writing through authorial style marks.
