Abstract

This paper analyzes, based on objective data, the relationship between litigation and the increase in the number of lawyers, and demonstrates that, at least in the analysis unit (the province of Corrientes, Argentina between 2005 and 2018) both variables do not are directly or proportionally related and, on the contrary, in spite of the sharp increase in the number of lawyers, the amount of proceedings initiated remains stable, with a sharp drop in the proportion between lawyers and processes.
