In this article I analyze the union mobilizations that took place during the presidency of Mauricio Macri (2015-2019), with a specific focus on the actions of the Teamsters from 2017 onwards. In the context of a growth of protests in the country, I focus on the union's interaction with the national government, joint mobilizations with other union organizations and the construction of an organizational narrative of its own. I argue that the growth of the protagonism of the union's deputy secretary, Pablo Moyano, was a key factor in the elaboration of an organizational narrative, which developed from his participation in the process of mobilizations. I use a qualitative methodological strategy, specifically ethnographic, which combines techniques of participant observation and in-depth interviews with the collection and analysis of secondary materials of different tenor.
